 From the tender age of 5, Mary C took to the stage performing original music written on the steps of her schoolyard.


As the daughter of NYC legendary jazz recording artist, Mercedes Hall, and sister of Actor/Director/80’s ‘Brat Pack’ member, Anthony Michael Hall, artistry runs deep in her blood.


Having recently returned from opening for Grammy Nominated, Thievery Corporation in Jamaica, Mary C & The Stellars have become the buzz of the independent music scene.


Holding a residency at NYC’s famous The Bitter End, sold out performances at Rockwood Music Hall, and opening for the Grammy-nominated artist such as Emily King, 311 & Matisyahu, has helped establish Mary C & The Stellars as rising stars.


2011 has been particularly memorable for Mary C. She was chosen as an RLIFE LIVE “Artist to Watch” and received coverage in The New York Times and The Edge publications


Fall of 2011 will mark the release of Mary C’s highly anticipated sophomore album, RIGHT ON TIME. Her fresh blend of eclectic Pop & Soul with perfect smatterings of blues, rock & funk promises to satisfy anyone's appetite for Stellar original music!

In between her album projects of 2010 & 2011, Mary C remains busy writing, arranging & producing for such clients as: SONY Music, SONY International, Universal Records, Def Jam Records and SoHo Publishing House. She also penned two original songs for SONY Japan recording artist, Ericka.


Other noteworthy recent performances include: SoHo Publishing House, ING NYC Marathon, Cape Cod Jazz Festival, plus private shows in Alaska, Vancouver and Montreal. Her work in 2010 for Strictly Rhythm Records rose to the top of the Billboard Top 100 International Dance chart.


Mary C was also commissioned to write and record the official theme song for Good Morning America & New York Times Best Selling Author, Tory Johnson’s Spark & Hustle Campaign. The motivational up-tempo pop/rock song, ‘One Life’ will be showcased on Ms. Johnson’s 2011 campaign world tour.
